Microneedling

A micro-needle pen creates invisible micro-perforations that boost collagen and elastin and open the skin to the active ingredients in serums, for a wide range of indications.

Microneedling

What is microneedling?

A method of natural skin regeneration, effective against sagging, wrinkles, blemishes and pigmentation marks. Its principle is inspired by very ancient practices of traditional Chinese medicine.

A dual action

The micro-needles create multiple invisible micro-perforations that stimulate cell regeneration and the production of collagen and elastin. They also open micro-channels that greatly increase absorption of the active ingredients in the serum applied during the session.

Which serums?

A concentrated serum multiplies the effect of the session. C-EM serums, rich in hyaluronic acid, are formulated for microneedling and electroporation; each targets a specific concern, and you can use several of them according to the areas of the face (zoning).

Indications

Sagging, wrinkles, frown lines and nasolabial folds, pigmentation marks, recent or old scars, enlarged pores, blemishes, stretch marks and, in men, hair loss and a sparse beard.

Is it painful?

No, but it can be uncomfortable depending on sensitivity: slight prickling over the whole surface. If the pain is too strong, the depth should be reduced.

Results

Tighter pores, smoother and softer skin, reduced pigmentation marks and wrinkles, fewer blemishes (around 4 weeks after the first session), less visible stretch marks, better hair and beard density. Results build up as sessions are repeated.

For your business

A treatment that is simple to perform with a light, easy-to-handle device, suitable for women and men alike and for all ages. Depending on the brand, it also suits dark skin with no risk of depigmentation through burning, unlike laser or certain peels.

How a session works

Skin diagnosis, make-up removal and deep cleansing (scrub or hydro-microdermabrasion), choice of serum, setting the depth and speed according to the skin and the area, then applying the serum and passing the pen. Allow around 30 minutes.

Boosting with LED

After microneedling, photobiomodulation soothes the skin, targets the concerns being treated and optimises the result of the treatment.

Microneedling at home

Consumer dermarollers have shorter needles and do not reach certain areas well: their effects are slower and do not replace a professional session.
