Kick-start skin regeneration
The micro-needles create invisible micro-perforations that trigger natural healing and the synthesis of collagen and elastin. The skin becomes firmer and smoother.
Serums that penetrate better
The micro-channels opened by the pen greatly increase the penetration of actives. C-EM serums, rich in hyaluronic acid, are formulated for this use.

Hygiene and safety

How long does a session take?
Between 30 minutes and an hour depending on the area.
How many sessions are needed?
On average 3 to 6 sessions spaced 4 to 6 weeks apart.
When are the results visible?
In the days following the session, with gradual improvement over the sessions.
Is the treatment painful?
It can be slightly uncomfortable. An anaesthetic cream is often applied for the client's comfort.
What does the skin look like after the session?
It may be red and slightly swollen, like after mild sunburn, for a few hours to a few days. Slight peeling is normal.
What advice should be given after the session?
Do not wash the face or wear make-up for 24 hours, avoid the sun and apply sun protection.
What are the contraindications?
Active skin infections, chronic skin diseases, clotting disorders, pregnancy and breastfeeding. The treatment is intended for adults.
Can a beauty therapist perform microneedling?
Yes, provided she is trained in the technique and uses suitable equipment. Check the regulations in force in the country where you practise.
Can microneedling be combined with other treatments?
Yes, by building the protocol around the client's skin, for example with LED to soothe after the session.
